1. Production & Ingest Process
a.) Multi-camera tape or film shoot
b.) Encoder captures video stream through video tap or video source
c.) Encoder creates on-the-fly digital stream
d.) Digital stream is securely piped through to a Mesoft SELECT Server
2. Media Stream Processing
a.) Mesoft SELECT Server pulls live digital from remote encoder system
b.) Server processes digital stream to streaming service and dynamically saves a digital file version locally into database
c.) Server's streaming server begins to feed authenticated users the streaming content.

3. Live Feed Viewing
a.) VP of Post Production (executive user) turns on Mesoft's SELECT VUE-R (Set-top Box Edition) connected to their SD/HD display or through a projection system
b.) User inputs a uniquely assigned PIN and is securely authenticated by a Mesoft SELECT Server pre-configured for the workflow
c.) User navigates to the appropriate folder for the live digital stream
d.) User selectsdesignated live stream and clicks play on the remote control
e.) Once the stream ends - executive user turns off Mesoft's SELECT VUE-R (Set-top Box Edition)
4. Archival Viewing
a.) Producer (user) starts Mesoft's SELECT VUE-R (Desktop Edition)
b.) User inputs a uniquely assigned username and password and is securely authenticated by a Mesoft SELECT Server pre-configured for the workflow
c.) User navigates to designated folder containing an earlier taped live stream file; accesses, selects and plays low resolution media
d.) User continues to views content through their connected display
g.) After reviewing the archived content, user logs off Mesoft's SELECT VUE-R (Desktop Edition) and shuts computer down |
