Mesoft Gains $6 Million in Funding

Company Forms New Management Team, Implements
Aggresive Growth Strategy.

BURBANK, CA (April 12, 2007): Mesoft Inc., a developer of revolutionary digital media supply chain technology, has received $6 million in new funding from a group led by Peninsula Equity Partners and Sid R. Bass Associates. The company plans to use the funds to build out the management team, expand sales and marketing and extend the scope and functionality of its product line.

In a related move, Mesoft has recently added veteran entertainment industry executives. Mesoft Co-founder and Vice President of Technology Freddy Goeske in conjunction with the new executives will manage day to day operations for the company. "This funding marks a new phase for Mesoft. It allows us to build the team and have the resources necessary to complete our vision of an end-to-end tapeless workflow platform," said Goeske.

Mesoft will continue to work with world class companies to market and deliver its solutions. Their partners include Ascent Media, Avid, Creative Media Partners, FotoKem, IBM, Matchframe Media Group, and Sun. Creative Media Partners President Steven Rich said the timing is great for this funding and new management team. "Creative Media Partners has a large customer base whose schedules are getting more and more compressed increasing the need for dependable, cost-effective solutions for managing, sharing and delivering data. Mesoft tools are designed to deliver these solutions," Rich said.

Matchframe Media Group Chief Operating Officer Barry Nulman, whose company has been partnering with Mesoft in developing a logging solution, said that he likes the direction the company is taking toward the professional market. "Mesoft clearly understands the components of success," he observed. "They have the knowledge and experience to marry media, networks and a world-class server. We're looking forward to continued collaboration on an end-to-end solution. We believe this round of funding will enable Mesoft to better implement its solutions and provide for future growth."

To date, Mesoft products have been used by such industry leaders as Touchstone Television, MGM, MTV, Warner Bros. Television, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures and The Weinstein Company. Productions that have used Mesoft solutions include 'Lost', 'Alias', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Hope & Faith', 'Knights of Prosperity', and 'MI3'.
