Mesoft Names Linda White as VP of Sales
HOLLYWOOD—MESoft Inc. (www.mesoft.com), a developer of digital workflow tools for the production of video and film content, has brought on Linda White as Vice President of Sales. White, who has more than 20 years of senior level experience in the post production industry, will oversee the company's marketing effort and seek to expand its sales network in the United States and internationally. She previously served as Director of Worldwide Sales at MTI Film, Hollywood.
"Linda is not only a talented marketing professional, she also has a deep understanding of our clients and the issues they face," said MESoft CEO Patrick Burns. "Her experience will be a great asset in forging new relationships and in educating the market about the benefits of our solutions."
White had held her post at MTI Film since 2005. She led the company's sales effort, developed its reseller channel and helped to introduce several new products to the international post production market. Previously, she spent 15 years at Sony Electronics, where she ultimately served as General Manager for its western regional sales of broadcast and professional products. She began her career with Walt Davis Enterprises, a video hardware sales and rental company.
In discussing her new role, White said that she sees tremendous opportunities for MESoft as the production and post production industry embraces digital media workflows. "This company has a brilliant engineering team and a solution that can be applied to a lot of production environments from reality shows to post production facilities," she said.
