Patrick Burns / CEO
Mr. Burns comes to Mesoft with over 25+ years of operational, marketing and sales experience in video related, high technology companies. Most recently, he served as COO for Kasenna Inc. Kasenna is a leading provider of video-on-demand (VOD) content and MPEG-4 ready IPTV applications for Triple Play services over broadband networks to a set-top box or a PC. Prior to Kasenna, Mr. Burns served in a variety of Vice President positions for Pinnacle Systems Inc. which was acquired by Avid.
Prior to Pinnacle, Mr. Burns served as Vice President and General Manager for Radius Inc., Vice President & General Manager for Chyron Corporation, Vice President of Video Cinemas for Macrovision Inc., and Vice President & General Manager for Ampex Corporation.
Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Economics from Tufts University and a Master's Degree in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Freddy Goeske / Co-Founder & CTO
Freddy Goeske is Mesoft's Co-Founder & CTO, responsible for product architecture and development.
Mr. Goeske has 15 years of experience with media and entertainment technologies and is widely recognized as a pioneer in the areas of Hi-Def film-making and digital intermediate processes for post-production. In 1996, he co-founded the highly regarded post-production firm Engram Digital, serving as Chief Technical Director until 2002. Freddy also served as Executive Producer on 'Postmortem', a feature film starring Charlie Sheen, and has been much-sought consultant for digital post-production technologies, most recently at Microsoft.
Krishna Menon / SVP Product Development
Krishna Menon comes to Mesoft with over 19+ years of experience in Product Development most of which have been in the development of video related technologies. Most recently, he was Director of Applications Development for IPTV at Microsoft, where he was responsible for the development of the tools and applications to differentiate the IPTV Edition platform.
Prior to Microsoft, Krishna Menon was at Pinnacle Systems (which was acquired by Avid Technology) where he was Director of Engineering responsible for developing IP-based collaborative workflow solutions for 24x7 Broadcast News operations. These systems are installed at CNN, TWC, and several other Broadcast organizations worldwide.
Prior to Pinnacle Systems, he was part of the founding team of Avid Sports Inc. which developed video analysis technologies for Professional and Collegiate sports organizations. At Avid Sports, Krishna was responsible for all aspects of Engineering. Prior to Avid Sports, Krishna served in a variety of software development positions at Avid Technology and Cadence Systems.
Krishna Menon holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin." |
